For Your Information Memorial Fund Use Policy
The Memorial Fund is made up of gifts to the church, generally in remembrance of a loved one. The Fund is the responsibility of the Board of Trustees and may be used as it deems appropriate for non-budgeted needs.
All requests for expenditures from the Memorial Fund not initiated by the Board of Trustees must be presented to them before any purchase is made. A Memorial Fund Request Slip needs to be filled out by a designated member of the requesting committee and approved by the Board of Trustees. This slip should then be attached to the Request for Payment Slip that must have either the bill for the item or a receipt that shows who paid for it and needs to be reimbursed. This slip must be signed by a requesting committee member and a member of the Finance Committee and then put in the Treasurer’s drawer for payment.
